Jaidyn Bentley is originally from Mocksville, NC. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy. Her practice interest is pediatric critical care. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Bentley serves on the Children’s Formulary Evaluation Team and is completing the Teaching and Learning Certificate Program. This year, her research will evaluate the use of intravenous magnesium sulfate for status asthmaticus on pediatric floors. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 pharmacy residency in her clinical area of interest. In the future, Dr. Bentley plans to pursue specialty board certification and practice at an academic medical center where she can be involved in clinical, precepting, and leadership opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys online shopping and spending time with her fiancé, 7-year-old daughter, and three huskies.
