Natalie Harris is originally from Gaffney, SC. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy in 2023. Her practice interests include emergency medicine and infectious diseases. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Harris serves on the Antimicrobial Stewardship Formulary Evaluation Team at Duke University Hospital and is completing the Teaching and Precepting Certificate Program. Her research will evaluate the need for antimicrobial stewardship in patients with updated urine culture result after discharge. Upon completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue a second year of residency training in one of her clinical interest areas. In the future, she hopes to obtain board certification and practice at an academic medical center where she can further pursue clinical, research, and precepting opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys hiking, reading, and exploring new restaurants!
