Ellen Boyle is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. She received her Bachelor of Science from Elon University before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy. Her practice interests include shock emergencies, trauma, and toxicology. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Boyle serves on the ICU/Anesthesia Formulary Evaluation Team. This year, her research will evaluate the impact of education on appropriate assessment and management of asymptomatic bacteriuria in the emergency department. Upon completion of her PGY2, she plans to obtain board certification in emergency medicine and practice at an academic medical center where she can pursue clinical, precepting, and leadership opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants!
