Residency Advisory Committee (PGY1)

The purpose of the Residency Advisory Committee (RAC) is to provide oversight of the PGY1 program by engaging in an ongoing process of assessment of the residency program.  The committee discusses monthly progress of the residents, initiates program quality improvement, and reviews the biannual feedback from the resident class amongst other activities.

The RAC comprises of eight PGY1 coordinators and additional pharmacy leaders. Each coordinator helps facilitate their assigned resident's progression and successful completion of the PGY1 program. The coordinators communicate monthly feedback between preceptors, document resident quarterly evaluations, and provide monthly updates at the RAC meeting.
