Bridgette Kram is a native of Maine, where she received her Bachelor of Science-Chemistry at the University of Maine-Orono (Go Bears!) in 2002. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2008, and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Bridgette has been practicing at Duke University Hospital since 2012, with patient care responsibilities in the Medical ICU. She carries board certifications in both Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and Critical Care (BCCCP). She is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology (CPP) Section. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Education at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Her research and process improvement interests include management of pain, agitation and delirium in mechanically-ventilated adults, infectious diseases, medication safety and transitions of care. In her free time, Bridgette likes to travel, run, hike and grow veggies in her garden.
