Kaely Miller was born and raised in Oak Ridge, NC. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy and her MBA in Healthcare Management from High Point University. Her clinical practice interest is Emergency Medicine. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Miller serves on the ICU/Anesthesia Formulary Evaluation team and is completing the Teaching and Learning Certificate Program. She is also involved nationally as a Member-at-Large on the American College of Clinical Pharmacy Resident Advisory Committee. This year, her research project is a propensity-matched retrospective cohort study evaluating early post-hospitalization follow-up for patients receiving OPAT. Upon completion of her PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 in Emergency Medicine. In the future, Dr. Miller plans to pursue specialty board certification and practice at a large academic medical center where she can be involved in clinical, research, and leadership opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time in the gym, watching professional hockey and football, and outside with her 2 dogs and horse!
