Robin Tumlinson is originally from Hartselle, AL. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Auburn University before completing her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Her practice interests include hematologic malignancies, cellular therapies, and infectious disease. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Tumlinson serves on the oncology formulary evaluation team. This year, her research will evaluate treatment outcomes and toxicities with 7+3 induction therapy versus a hypomethylating agent with venetoclax in 50- to 60-year-old patients with AML. Upon completion of PGY2 oncology pharmacy residency, she plans to obtain her oncology board certification and practice at an academic medical center where she can further pursue clinical and precepting opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys reading, Auburn sports, and exploring new restaurants!
