Ann Scates McGee, Pharm.D. began her career at Duke in 1997 as a Drug Information Specialist, after completing an ASHP accredited residency in Drug Information. She is a North Carolina native who graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She went on to graduate with her Pharm.D. from Mercer University School of Pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently she serves as the Director of the Center for Medication Policy. The Center for Mediation Policy is staffed with 4 resident trained pharmacists who serve to collaborate with others across the health system to support safe, efficacious, cost effective, and rational medication use.
