Bianca Rodriguez is originally from Harlingen, Texas. She received her Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Texas A&M University College of Pharmacy in 2025. She completed her PGY-1 at Houston Methodist Hospital – Texas Medical Center. Her practice interests include hematology/oncology and managing oncologic emergencies. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Rodriguez serves on the Oncology Formulary Evaluation Team at Duke University Hospital. Her research includes a real-world evaluation of trilaciclib use in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC), as well as a study examining time to first dose of ATRA and associated outcomes in APL patients. Upon completion of her PGY-2 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue specialty board certification and obtain a position at an academic medical center where she can engage in precepting, research, and teaching opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, going for walks, exercising, watching TV, and trying new cooking recipes.
