Delaney Mayo is originally from Caldwell, Kansas. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Her areas of interest include psychiatry and pediatrics. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Mayo serves on the Children's Formulary Evaluation Team at Duke University Hospital and is completing the Teaching and Precepting Certificate Program. Her research will evaluate thrombosis differences in Fontan circulation with rivaroxaban to the standard of care. Upon completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue a second year of residency in one of her clinical interest areas. In the future, she hopes to obtain board certification and practice at an academic medical center where she can precept students and residents while practicing at a high-level institution. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, going to concerts, talking with family/friends, and watching KU basketball!
