Dylan Hawkins is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Dr. Hawkins serves on the Vaccines and Critical Care Formulary Evaluation Teams and is completing the Teaching and Precepting Certificate Program at Duke University Hospital. His research will investigate rates of biosimilar conversion in the rheumatology setting. His professional interests include medical affairs and market access, particularly within hepatology, and he hopes to pursue a career supporting the development and appropriate use of therapies for patients with liver disease. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée, fishing, and playing ultimate frisbee.
