Hannah Munro is originally from Akron, OH. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Peace University and Doctor of Pharmacy/Master in Clinical Research dual degree from Campbell University College of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 acute care pharmacy residency at Duke University Hospital. Her practice interests include emergency resuscitation and neurologic emergencies. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Munro serves as a PGY1 preceptor for the longitudinal code blue experience. This year, her research will be adverse cardiac events in succinylcholine versus rocuronium in rapid sequence intubation. Upon completion of her PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency, she plans to pursue specialty board certification and obtain an emergency medicine position at an academic medical center where she can further pursue clinical, research, and teaching opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys reading, golfing, playing board games, going on walks with her dog and trying new coffee shops.
