Jennifer (Jenn) Garson was born and raised in Madison, WI. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. To augment her residency training at DUH, she is completing a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Health-System Pharmacy Administration through the University of North Carolina. Notable longitudinal experiences within Dr. Garson’s residency include chairing the DUHS Formulary and Informatics Subcommittee, serving on the DUH Children’s P&T Committee, and managing the Clinical Intern Program. Her research involves implementing and evaluating an inpatient medication access program for patients prior to discharge. Dr. Garson is also passionate about national pharmacy involvement and currently serves as the Chair of the PAL Resident Resources Workgroup for ASHP's Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Resident Collaborative. In the future, she hopes to attain a pharmacy leadership position aligned with her administrative interests of clinical management, transitions of care, and global health. In her free time, Dr. Garson enjoys visiting friends and family across the country, trying new foods, and cheering on Boilermaker athletics.
