Joey Ricchezza is originally from Washington Township, NJ. He received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The Ohio State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. He is also pursuing a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership through the University of North Carolina as a component of the HSPAL Residency Program. Dr. Ricchezza serves on the Cardiometabolic Formulary Evaluation Team and is completing the Teaching and Precepting Certificate Program at DUH. He also serves as a member of the Resident Resources Workgroup for ASHP’s Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Resident Collaborative. His pharmacy interests include diabetes, cardiology, 340B/finance, and strategic planning. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys cooking, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
