Kayla Olstinske is from New Berlin, WI and completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. As part of the residency, Dr. Olstinske serves on the Neurosciences Formulary Evaluation Team, collaborates on projects involving hospital formulary and policy across therapeutic areas, and is working towards earning a Teaching and Learning Certificate. Dr. Olstinske’s longitudinal research project at Duke investigates the clinical and cost outcomes of an updated fidaxomicin ordering process for the treatment of Clostridium difficile. With GSK, she will work on a new product launch for primary biliary cholangitis. Outside of work, Dr. Olstinske enjoys exploring new cities, playing and listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
