Meghan Haan is originally from LaCoste, Texas. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy. Her practice interests include solid organ transplant and infectious diseases. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Haan serves on the Antimicrobial Stewardship Formulary Evaluation Team at Duke University Hospital and is completing the Teaching and Precepting Certificate Program. Her research will evaluate Secondary CMV Prophylaxis After Solid Organ Transplantation. Upon completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue a second year in one of her clinical interest areas. In the future, she hopes to practice at an academic medical center where she can continue to engage in research, advance health equity, and improve transitions of care for complex patient populations. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys baking, traveling, and going to concerts.
