Morgan Teeters is originally from Tellico Plains, Tennessee. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from East Tennessee State University in 2025. Her practice interests include emergency medicine and critical care. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Teeters serves on the Cardiometabolic Formulary Evaluation Team at Duke University Hospital and is completing the Teaching and Precepting Certificate Program. Her research will examine the incidence of vasoplegia in patients undergoing lung transplantation with concurrent use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors or angiotensin II receptor blockers. Upon completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue a second year of residency in one of her clinical interest areas. In the future, she hopes to obtain board certification and practice at an academic medical center where she can further pursue clinical, research and teaching opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys writing, trying new coffee shops, and cheering on the Tar Heels!
