Sarah Kugler is originally from Mandeville, Louisiana. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy and Master of Business Administration through the institution's dual-degree program with the University of Memphis. Her practice interests include solid organ transplant, oncology, and critical care. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Kugler serves on the Oncology Formulary Evaluation Team and is completing the Teaching and Precepting Certificate Program. Her research will evaluate the impact of induction therapy on outcomes in elderly transplant recipients. Upon completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue a PGY2 pharmacy residency in one of her clinical interest areas. In the future, she hopes to obtain board certification and practice at an academic medical center where she can pursue clinical, research, leadership, and precepting opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys trying new restaurants and coffee shops, exercising, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends!
