Seo Young Chun is originally from South Korea. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Rutgers University–Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy in 2025 and completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency training at the Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. Her practice interests include donor-derived thrombotic microangiopathy and the use of complement inhibitors in solid organ transplant recipients. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Chun serves on the Solid Organ Transplant Formulary Evaluation Team at Duke University Hospital. Her research will evaluate outcomes associated with a weight-based dosing strategy with transitioning from immediate-release tacrolimus to long-acting tacrolimus in heart transplant recipients. Upon completion of PGY2, she plans to pursue a specialty board certification and obtain a position at an academic medical center where she can pursue clinical and teaching opportunities. Outside of work, she enjoys escape rooms, hiking, trying new coffee shops, and going to IKEA!
