Tyler is a native of Tennessee, where he received his Bachelor of Science-Biology at Tennessee Technological University in 2014. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy at Belmont University College of Pharmacy in 2020, completed his PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency at Duke University Hospital in 2022, and received his Master of Science-Health System Pharmacy Administration at the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2022. Prior to joining the Center for Medication Policy team, Tyler served as Manager of Inpatient Operations at UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, NC. His professional interests include leadership, medication safety, and improving efficiency in the medication use process. In his free time, Tyler enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, playing golf, and working on their house.
