As a reminder, all visits, including virtual, must be scheduled.
Vestigo is the standard for protocol management by IDS operations around the country and has contributed to the growth and expansion of our operations here at Duke University Health System (DUHS).
Vestigo has established VestigoVerify for monitors to review ONC IDS study documents. Each time ONC IDS provides access; the monitor receives an email from Vestigo with their login information. A VestigoVerify account is not site specific; as a result, monitors can use their single sign-on across multiple protocols across multiple sites.
Use the provided links to learn more about Vestigo:
- Vestigo Overview
- An overview of the accountability system automating IDS operations.
- Vestigo Verify
- An efficient resource to seamlessly monitor investigational drug services and protocol data.
- Vestigo Solutions
- Streamline data and workflow by integrating Vestigo with sponsor IRT systems to reduce inefficiencies, support data integrity and enhance real-time monitoring.
ONC IDS documents are electronic only, and all protocol-specific documents can be available in Vestigo. To accommodate all type of visits and department staffing, there is a 14-day lead time for all visits. Visits are only permitted as early as every 60 days.
NOTE: If the visit is scheduled earlier than 60 days, it will not be booked and confirmed by ONC IDS.
Visits generate a confirmation through the booking website at the time of booking. However, visits are officially confirmed by ONC IDS staff about 1 week prior to the visit through Vestigo. Please use the link below to schedule your upcoming visit. ONC IDS does not schedule visits outside of the booking website link.
Booking website (Oncology IDS)
Please read the visit options and descriptions carefully on the booking website!
NOTE: On-site visits are limited and can be requested. However, requests are only granted based on the staff's schedule and availability.
ONC IDS uses an electronic system, Cooper-Atkins TempTrak, for temperature monitoring and maintains all temperature logs and calibration certificates in Vestigo for review.
- Duke currently utilizes BD Phaseal for all hazardous drug preparation and administration.
- CSTD use is required per USP 800 for hazardous drug administration.
- ONC IDS will request if CSTDs can be used for drug preparation if not noted in the pharmacy manual.
