Anna Becherer, PharmD

PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident
Anna Becherer is from Raleigh, NC. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2024 and completed a PGY1 Acute Care Pharmacy Residency at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital. Her clinical interests include diabetes, cardiology, and women’s health. Dr. Becherer serves on the Internal & Specialty Medicine Formulary Evaluation Team and is conducting research on the impacts of switching between anti-CGRP preventative agents for migraine. Upon completion of her PGY2 residency, she plans to pursue board certification, obtain her CPP credential, and practice in an interdisciplinary clinic where she can precept future learners. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys baking, hiking, attending concerts, and spending time with friends, family, and her cat Lexi.

Sydney Hege, PharmD

PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident
Sydney Hege is originally from Lexington, NC. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Appalachian State University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Dr. Hege completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. Her practice interests include cardiology, transitions of care, behavioral health, and primary care. Dr. Hege serves on the Internal & Specialty Medicine Formulary Evaluation Team. This year, her research will evaluate the implementation of the GLP-1 titration clinic for patients with heart failure within the Duke Cardiology Clinic. Upon completion of her PGY2 residency, she plans to pursue specialty board certification, her CPP credential, and obtain a clinical position in one of her interest areas. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys playing trivia and spending time with her family, friends, and her cats Roxy and Rover.
