Current Resident

Madison McKnight is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, TN. Her practice interests include cardiology, transitions of care, hepatology, and substance use disorders. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. McKnight serves on the Primary Care Formulary Evaluation Team. This year she will be conducting research evaluating physician preference for PJP prophylaxis in long term steroid use. Upon completion of her PGY2 training, Madison plans to obtain board certification and practice as an internal medicine pharmacist at an academic medical center where she can further pursue clinical, precepting, and research opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys farmers markets, Orange Theory Fitness classes, and trying new breweries and restaurants.
