Statement:
My goal is to develop confident and capable leaders with a strong clinical foundation. For PGY1-year, residents work closely with myself and PGY1 Residency Program Director, Brianna Alexander, to gain that clinical foundation. For PGY2-year, residents work with our entire leadership team, which allows them to gain exposure to and participate at all levels of leadership.
What I find most fulfilling about working with residents is seeing them grow and find their voices as leaders. One of the great strengths of our program is the highly tailored second year. As our residents progress and clearly define their area of interest, our program flexes to allow them to gain the specific expertise needed to launch their professional careers post-residency.
