Monique Conway, PharmD, BCCP, is a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Cardiology at Duke University Hospital, where she has been providing patient care since 2017 on the Adult Congenital and Valvular Heart Diseases service.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Forensic Science from Appalachian State University (Go App!) before obtaining her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Monique completed both her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Cardiology Pharmacy Residency at the University of Michigan (Michigan Medicine) in Ann Arbor.
She holds board certification in Cardiology (BCCP) and is an active member of the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA). In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Monique lectures at the Duke School of Medicine and serves as a PGY1 resident coordinator, as well as a member of the PGY1 Residency Advisory Committee.
Throughout her tenure at Duke, Monique has been involved in multidisciplinary process-improvement projects and design and expansion of clinical pharmacy services. Her research interests include adult congenital heart diseases, acute decompensated heart failure and diuretic resistance, chronic heart failure, as well as transitions of care. Outside of work, Monique enjoys traveling, reading, trying new restaurants, binge-watching Netflix, and spending quality time with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Gillyweed Longbottom, her husband, and their family and friends.
