Jaidyn Bentley is originally from Mocksville, NC. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency training at Duke University Hospital. Her current practice area of interest is pediatric critical care. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Bentley serves on the Children’s Formulary Evaluation Team, Pediatric Adverse Drug Event (ADE) Committee, and the Antimicrobial Stewardship and Evaluation Team (ASET) Committee. This year, her research will evaluate opioid conversions and sedation requirements in mechanically ventilated pediatric patients. Upon completion of her PGY2 pediatric pharmacy residency, she plans to pursue board certification and practice at an academic medical center where she can be involved in clinical, precepting, and leadership opportunities. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys online shopping and spending time with her fiancé, 8-year-old daughter, and three huskies.
